Chiropractic for newborns & Infants

Our brains are the only organ not fully formed at birth. This makes the early stages of development crucial for neurologic function. The neonatal period and labor & delivery process often place stress into the developing nervous system. Common issues for the newborn include: difficulty nursing/feeding, digestive issues, poor sleep quality, fussiness/colic/irritability. As growth continues this may then start to appear as delayed or difficulty reaching milestones, sensory and/or motor disturbances, chronic infections, etc. 

Dr. Alyssa will come to you in the comfort of your home in the days following your newborn’s arrival and/or later on to maintain wellness visits during the critical first year of brain development, setting your little one up for a lifetime of health. 

Initial visit includes an evaluation of primitive reflexes and cranial & spinal motion. Gentle adjustments allow for ease in the nervous system, providing restored function and innate healing.
